At the shore of the lake is the boat anchored,
the lake “Stora Hensjön” offers excellent fishing.
It is possible to experience crayfish-catching in august-september,
eating crayfish during these months is a Swedish tradition.

The accommodation offers an open-plan room.
It is the guest cottage of the houseowner’s main house.
At one end of the room is a kitchen is fully equipped with
hob/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker.
The room is also furnished a double bed and a bunkbed.
A large sofa (2 beds) is placed by the woodburner and TV.
There is small hallway leading to a large bathroom with a
shower cubicle, WC and a washing machine.
The garden is large and is partly shared with the owner’s private house,
but there are plenty of seating areas.

Situated in a private garden this holiday cottage offers
a great retreat for nature lovers.
The cottage boasts a private beach, with an amazing lake view.
Perfect for a morning swim, the beach is just steps
away from your doorstep.
Providing a perfect spot for sunbathing, alfresco dining,
or simply enjoying the sound of the waves.
Included is a boat allowing you to go fishing or
enjoy a sunset cruise.
Adjacent is a nature reserve Hensjönäset,
walking trails leading you through the forests.
The reserve is teeming with wildlife,
making it an ideal destination for birdwatching, photography, or peaceful hikes.
In the late summertime can you go blueberry and mushroom picking.

Located in the countryside near a nature reserve with many hiking trails. 10 km from Tingsryd, which has many shops,
restaurants and cafes. Cycle path Hensjörundan nearby.
Swimming (badplats) distance 1 km in Blötan by Stora Hensjön, with jetties and barbecue area.
Within a short distance you is the Baltic Sea (Östersjön)
and pleasant coastal towns such as Ronneby, Karlshamn
and Karlskrona. Destinations: Åsnen national park, Elkparks, The Kingdom of Crystal (Glasriket),
The Glass Factory, Kalmar Castle, Öland, Kosta Outlet,
Astrid Lindgren’s world.
