The Right of Public Access
The Swedish Right of Public Access ” Allemansrätten” is unique.
The opportunity for everyone to experience nature, freely to hike,
cycle, canoe, pick berries and camp.
There are certain limitations to the right of public access, for example when you are in
sensitive environments and near private homes.
But in most places you are allowed to be completely unhindered in nature.
Of course, it is important to show consideration for landowners,
animals, nature and other people.
